  • D&S Fire delivers fire awareness training and fire risk assessments which should be reviewed regularly to note changes and ensure the ongoing safety of the building and its occupants.

As part of your fire risk assessment, our team will review your business or commercial premises to identify what is required for fire prevention and to keep occupants safe.   Your fire risk assessment must be kept as a written record if the non-domestic building occupies five or more people, including residents, visitors, and employees.

D&S Fire risk assessments include identifying any fire hazards or people who may be at risk, carrying out an evaluation, and removing and reducing risks.  We will record the findings on your behalf and prepare an appropriate emergency plan for your building(s) with recommendations on any required changes or improvements.

We take the stress out of fire risk training and assessments by keeping you up to date with all the regulations.

With our basic fire awareness training, it’s always more useful to widen this beyond your designated fire marshals and offer it to as many staff as possible.  Our courses for groups or individuals typically last about three hours.  They are designed to help building occupants understand all aspects of fire safety, act within the law and have procedures in place in the event of a fire.

During our courses, you have the opportunity to gain insightful experience from our team of professionals and ask questions.  Your fire marshals also get to participate in a practical demonstration on the proper use of fire extinguishers.

If you are unsure whether your fire risk assessment has been carried out, contact D&S Fire today.  Your local Fire and Rescue authority can also advise but it is not within their remit to carry out the risk assessment for you.
